Many of our guests who visit Fehmarn for the first time are surprised when they, even before they have unpacked their luggage, discover our narrow path to the beach. Not because the beach is only a few steps away, through a strip of woodland, but because one can initially fall in love with this beach.

It's not what islands in the South Seas or other beaches at the North and Baltic Sea offer: long white beaches or an endless amount of beach chairs; it's the lively, seemingly unspoilt natural beach that has something to discover in store for everybody.

There are no prohibition signs, visitor's tax, tall hotels but small romantic nooks with fine sand behind a great rock; actually, rock and sea-shell collectors will be comfortable here, there is a lot to discover here, especially for children.

Old tree trunks that can be used as a seesaw, a small cliff line, swimming areas, and long boundless promenades.
